Earth is a school. The universe is a university. We are all in school here. We are here to learn a number of things – and this is why we all have to go through so-called Spiritual tests and lessons to demonstrate that we are ready to choose love over fear, oneness over separation, the Higher Self over the lower self, etc. We are really being tested every single moment of our lives. Every single thought we think is a test, so this is a tough school really because there are no breaks. And this is why it is absolutely essential to have a victory log in place.
Just as we need to keep logs of our finances to stay on top of them, it is important to keep logs of our daily victories to stay on top of our psychological life! Since it is our thoughts that create our reality, having a victory log is the ultimate tool to keep us focused, positive and optimistic regardless of the tests and lessons we may be going through in the moment.
Here is how it works: Every day, write down your victories – no matter how small. That’s it!
Now what is so special about this simple exercise? By writing down your victories every day – large and small – this will keep your mind focused on what you can do instead of what you can’t do. It helps you to stay positive and optimistic instead of going pessimistic. It helps you to see the doughnut instead of the hole in the doughnut. It makes you feel powerful instead of powerless.
A victory log is the ultimate self-empowerment tool!
Because as you keep doing it, you will notice how much you actually grow each day. Many lightworkers feel like they are not growing much, but that is not true. They just happen to focus on their temporary „defeats“ instead of on their many, small victories.
So as you make it a habit to add to and read over your victory log every day, as you start your day, this will give you such a boost of energy to start your day with that you won’t even know what to do with all this positive energy!
So, if you have not done it yet, start up a victory log on your computer, or on a notepad if you prefer, and add to it every day – especially when you feel down. You will then soon feel on top of life again. So all you really do is make a list of your victories, large and small. That’s all. And you keep reading it over and over again, at least once a day, but definitely each time you feel discouraged.
I remember, Joshua (Dr Joshua David Stone) had me record his victory list on tape (yeah, we still used tapes back then :-), and he would then listen to it while running errands. Usually, once a month I would record a new tape for him. You may want to do the same. Put your victories on audio and listen to them throughout the day, or when falling asleep.
It is so easy in life to focus on our deficiencies, but the key to psychological and Spiritual health is to focus on our victories and to set up battle plans to correct our shortcomings.
Doing this will totally empower you so please don’t skip this exercise. Do it right away. And if you can (and as we all know, where there is a will there is a way), record your victories on audio and listen to them while running errands, working out, and so forth. It works but you have to do it.
